Shepherd’s Hands
Shepherd’s Hands: Extending Hope Beyond the Walls

Our neighbors without homes need us—and we can’t do it alone
What We Do
Every Monday, our team loads up and goes where the need is greatest—meeting people where they are. We don’t wait for them to come to us; we go to them because every life matters.
Here’s what we provide, free of charge and full of care:
- Fresh sack lunches and bottled drinks
- Clean clothing: shirts, pants, socks, underwear, shoes
- Basic hygiene items: soap, washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, deodorant, bug spray
- Tarps and tents (when available) to help endure the elements
- Prayer, encouragement, and a listening ear
We also help connect individuals to housing programs, addiction recovery services, and long-term support networks.
Weekend Preparation
On Saturdays and Sundays, we prepare meals and gather essential items to take out during our Monday outreach. And because we believe in community, we also offer rides to church on Sundays for anyone who wants to join us.
Why It Matters
The need is growing—and our resources are limited. We can’t do this alone. Your involvement can make a real difference in the life of someone who feels forgotten.
Here’s how you can help:
- Donate clothing, hygiene items, or food
- Provide financial support
- Spread the word about Shepherd’s Hands
River of Life Church is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your contributions are tax-deductible.
