Welcome to River Youth, the student ministry of River of Life Church, designed for students in 6th–12th grade.

We exist to create a space where students can encounter God, grow in faith, and build real community with others their age.

Every Wednesday night is packed with powerful worship, biblical teaching, fun, and genuine connection. No matter where you’re from or what your story is, you belong here.

What To Expect – Wednesdays @ 6:30 pm

River Youth isn’t just another youth group — it’s a family where students find hope, purpose, and belonging.

  • Dynamic Worship: Students experience the presence of God through passionate, Spirit-led worship.
  • Relevant Teaching: Biblical truth that speaks to what teens face every day.
  • Community: Fun, friends, and small groups where students can be real and grow together.
  • Food & Fun: Every week, we serve free pizza and open our RY Café with snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What time can I drop off my child?
    Doors open at 6:30 PM. For safety reasons, please don’t drop off students before that time, as adult supervision begins when the doors open.
  • How long does River Youth last?
    Services typically run from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
  • Do you feed students at River Youth?

    No, we do not feed students on Wednesday nights. However, students are able to purchase snacks and drinks at RY Cafe.

  • How do you select your youth leaders?

    All River Youth leaders complete a full application and interview process, including a background check and a meeting with our Youth Pastor.

    Each leader also:

    • Signs our Church Honor Code and Statement of Beliefs
    • Agrees to the River Youth Leader Commitment Form
    • Completes specialized youth ministry training
