Whether you’re welcoming people at the door, supporting behind the scenes, leading a group, or using your creative gifts, every role is vital to what God is doing through River of Life. We believe that when you serve, you grow spiritually, build community, and discover your purpose.
Areas to Serve
Here’s a snapshot of some of the ways you can serve.

Hospitality & Welcome
- Greeters: Welcome guests at the doors and provide information.
- Parking Team: Help visitors find a spot and feel welcomed (ages 15+).
- Hospitality Team: Host in the lobby, coffee stations, and worship experiences.
Teaching & Life Groups
- Life Group Leaders: Lead small groups and guide members in their next steps.
- River Kids Team: Minister to children with Bible stories, worship, and activities.
- River Youth & Young Adults: Mentor and teach students and young adults.
- Men & Women’s Teams: Invest in adults through teaching, life groups, and mentorship.
Worship & Creative Arts
- River Worship: Lead worship as a musician, singer, or production/tech team member.
- River Creatives: Use design, video, photography, or decorating skills to tell God’s story.
Events & Outreach
- Events Team: Serve at church-wide events, outreaches, and special celebrations.
- Outreach & Missions Teams: Connect with the community locally and globally.
- A.P.W. Biker Team: Engage with bikers through Bible studies, outreach events, and fellowship.
Prayer & Support
- Prayer Team: Provide prayer covering for services, ministries, and individuals.
- First Responders Team: Pray and minister in emergencies.
- Baptism Team: Prepare and host River of Life baptism experiences.
Operations & Facilities
- A-Team (Administration): Support church teams with computer and administrative tasks.
- Maintenance & Landscaping Teams: Care for the building, grounds, and facilities.
- Set Up/Take Down Team: Prepare spaces before and after services.
- Usher / Security Team: Assist guests, manage offerings, and ensure a safe environment.
