Danielle Polk

Danielle is originally from San Diego, CA but grew up in Bartlett. She graduated from Union University in Jackson, TN with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2013 and a Master of Social Work in 2020. She is also licensed as a Master-Level Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. She has previously worked in 2 different churches serving in administrative and financial roles, along with formerly working as a social worker and mental health therapist. Danielle finds fulfillment working behind the scenes in the church setting to not only use her social work skills to aid others but to serve God and be a hand in the church’s ministries.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband Clay, family and friends, and her 3 cats, as well as attending concerts and sporting events, reading, drawing and painting, learning new languages, and playing video games. She is always striving to be better than she was yesterday.

Her favorite verse, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’.”  (Jeremiah 29:11), has been a constant reminder to her during all of life’s experiences.
